We built what we were missing
Prome was born in Bologna in 2024 from three students swapping notes across scattered chats, losing files, links and study sessions. Today it is the platform 28,000 Italian students organise with.
A tribute to progress
Our motto is not a marketing slogan: it is how we decide what to build. Every feature must move someone forward, not keep them inside the app.
That is why there are no likes, no leaderboards and no invented notifications: only tools to study together and leave when you are done.
How we sustain ourselves
Prome is free for students and will stay that way. We are funded through agreements with universities that want collaborative study tools for their courses.
We do not sell data, we do not profile for advertising and we do not train models on your notes.
